The doctor of chiropractic is a specialist in spinal musculoskeletal disorders.

Upon injury, the individual often alters the normal position or flexibility of the spinal vertebrae. Chiropractic treatment is designed to restore normal alignment and thus minimize pain and suffering. Gentile manipulative therapy or “adjustment” is often effective in rapidly returning the injured person to a productive status. The chiropractor can also provide guidance with advice designed to reduce work-related injuries, proper lifting procedures and therapeutic stretching exercises.

It is important to not only focus on short-term pain relief, but overall long-term health.
Pain relief is only the first step in recovery;  it is part one of three crucial parts to allow proper healing and recovery.

The second phase involves stabilizing of the injured area, this helps the soft tissue heal and strengthen,  thereby preventing future flare ups from occurring.

Step three is maintaining the corrections and stability, thus promoting the long term health of the body and structures.  This plan is the cornerstone of our office and the reason why our patients stay well for the long run.
